The Cobby Car - Almost finished.

The repaired body was matched up with the frames prior to painting as a trial fit. The body has been turned 180o.

The body was painted "International Red".

The rebuilt motor with a new alternator. Note the welding on the block.

I have not seen welding in this area before. Usually around the mounting bolts is where they fail. One wonders if this engine "threw a leg" at some stage.

The number suggests it was made in either late 1963 or early 1964.

The frames all painted, and the motor back in.
