Fairmont A Series

Tutts/Pacific ACE built two series of cars under the A banner. Both were powered by a Holden 2835cc six cylinder ("RED") motor. Cars with the manual transmission were "A5", whereas those fitted with a Holden Trimatic automatic gearbox were marked as "A5A" series cars. Some other cars where fitted with Ford and smaller Holden engines

Have seen these across the western half of Australia, with Commonwealth Railways and Australian National. Seen a few on narrow gauge. With one in Western Australia, but I am not sure if this is a mongrelised former Australian National Car.
