Victorian Railways "Casey"
Kindly provided by Paul Pavlinovich, these cars are the narrow gauge version of the broad gauge KS series cars. They were classed NKS.
Both are seen here on the Puffing Billy Railway, perhaps the leading tourist railway in Victoria.
Both are relatively original, with their two stroke motors. In all likelihood, these motors were copies built by the Victorian Railways.
Paul manages Steam and Engine - worth the visit.
This link was emailed to me, and will take you to a site that records the history of one of Victorias Narrow Gauge Railways, the Wangarratta to Whitfield Railway. Scroll down and you will find a pic of an NKS on a mail run.
