SAR Trikes
Two trikes and a four wheeled SAR hand car, National Railway Museum, Port Adelaide
The front car is a two person unit - on the broad gauge, and the second car is a one man unit.
These cars were to be built from American Ash (wheels) and Queensland Maple (frames). Information I have also suggests that post 1932 all SAR cars were to have 5-ply centred wheels. One wonders if this happened
