NSWGR VW

This car is a NSWGR Departmental Heavy Gang Car - mor commonly known as a "VW", because they were powered by a Volkwagen Industrial engine. This engine was also used to run compressors.

I have been told that they are very powerful, and capable of a good turn of speed.

It appears these cars were built in Queensland by Bodeco, but am unsure of how many or where.
